A country house school in eight acres of parkland

Oakfield House School is situated between Blackpool and Preston in Salwick near Kirkham, easily accessible from the M6, M55 and M65. We are an independent school catering for autistic children aged between 4-12 who can present with a range of associated difficulties.

We provide a unique provision for autistic children and those with complex needs in purpose-built classroom environments and a series of sensory spaces that work seamlessly with the learning spaces. We are fortunate to have Forest Schools where pupils can maximise the benefits of our parkland, as well as an Immersive Classroom.

We view each child as a true individual, working closely with families and other professionals to review progress each term. Our onsite multi-disciplinary team formulates actions and targets for each pupil, informed by their EHCP.
